The SPS IPC Drives Fair 2016 is in full swing. In the midst of the action, we spoke to Comsys CEO, Marcus Löfgren, and asked him what he looks forward to showing to customers this year.
Löfgren explained, “The SPS Fair is a great meeting place in the middle of Europe, withvisitors from around the world.” He adds, “We enjoy getting the opportunity to interact directly with our end customers.” ADF Power Tuning solutions and support are available globally through the international network of partners. Logistics and purchasing often goes through Comsys’ well-selected partners, and together they form the international ADF Community.
Löfgren shares, “I believe in simplicity.” Not only does he want to make operations seamless for ADF partners, but he urges, “We need to make active filters simpler for customers.” That of course is reflected in the new product line customers can see and experience at the SPS IPC Drives Fair. A key example is the invention of what Comsys calls Sensorless Control, a method that completely removes the need for CTs (current transformers) in low harmonic solutions.the reasons we participate in the SPS Fair is so partners can use the booth for their own customers.” This approach is indicative of a larger concept that Marcus believes in. And what concept is that? Simplicity.
Experience Sensorless Control and more active filter solutions at hall 1, stand 338 between Nov. 22-24, 2016.
With one week left until the annual SPS IPC Drives Fair, we sat down with Key Account Manager Henrik Sjökvist to find out what he's looking forward to this year.
As the global gathering place for the drives business, Henrik shares "We usually meet a lot of customers and partners. We will meet new, interesting contacts. It’s extremely important."
Customers and partners will get a chance to see Comsys' new developments and innovative solutions. When asked what he is most excited to share with visitors, Henrik says the system integration capabilties (ADF Power Tuning's modular concept). So what does this mean for visitors looking for a low harmonic drive (LHD)? Henrik answers:

"It opens up a lot of opportunities. It's not just a box you put in a corner, but is something you can integrate into your own product or your existing switch gear room - it's a completely different level of flexibility compared to what else is available on the market. This simplifies things for our customers."

There are less than 10 days left until the SPS Fair in Nuremberg where we'll be showcasing new, innovative solutions for our partners and customers in the drives business. We asked Product Manager and Technical Sales Lead, Christian Born, what he was most looking forward to sharing with customers.
Without a doubt he says he is most excited to show off the new ADF P200. Aside from the P200's unique capability to solve resonances, Born shares that "customers that already know about the P200 concept will be amazed because we’ve improved the size and made it possible to integrate with the ADF P300 ." This makes the solution more dynamic and flexible, especially when it comes to commissioning.
The ADF P200 is commonly used in combination with an ADF P300, but this new and improved solution gives customers the possibility to combine both solutions in a single cabinet. The result is a much smaller active filter that reduces hassle by improving the ease of installation and lead time.
Visit us at Hall 1, stand 338 to see the new P200 live in-person.

Innovation is in our DNA.
At the 2016 SPS IPC Drives Fair, we’ll showcase new advances in our technology that are guaranteed to maximize your operational performance. From the new system integration capabilities enabled by our sophisticated components, to the lightning fast ADF P200 built to handle resonances better than any other compensation solution, and our Sensorless Control™ technology that eliminates the need for CTs altogether, we’re sure we have a solution for you.
For all this and more (including a live demo!), stop by Hall 1, Stand 338.
