Lund based Comsys AB has signed a distribution agreement with EPCOS, a German company (www.epcos.com) which means that Comsys products will be launched in the Asian market.
In early autumn the company will launch with EPCOS products at a trade show in Shanghai, China. But the entry into Asia is only part of Comsys strategy to distribute its products globally.
In the current situation Comsys itself handles the Swedish, Dutch and German market. Recently an agreement was signed with a new partner in Denmark, which they hope to close the first business before your holiday with. Comsys is also negotiating with partners in Norway and Sweden and are looking at potential collaborations in Germany and Holland, which is scheduled to be in place before the end of the year. An establishment in North America is scheduled for next spring. So far, Comsys includes names as Sandvik, Öresundskraft, Vattenfall, Volvo and TetraPak at it's customer reference list. Recently even Höganäs AB invested in Comsys ADF system to a value of around ten million.
"We have kept a low profile for several years and worked closely with our customers to finalize the ADF technology. This year we are investing significantly into market development," says Comsys CEO Peter Ström.
